Tailor-made hockey tours in Uruguay

Hockey is a growing sport in Uruguay with the majority of hockey concentrated in the capital, Montevideo, other areas are currently isolated from the sport. The Hockey federation’s aim is to take the sport further, outside Montevideo into the whole country and increase the enthusiasm of players and make this sport a more popular one.

When you’re not playing sport, visit one of Uruguay’s many pristine beaches or enjoy the culturally rich capital of Montevideo with 19th century neoclassical buildings and a photogenic Old Town.  Other places to visit are the picturesque cobblestone streets of Colonia del Sacramento, beautifully set above the Río de la Plata or South Americas most glamorous resort of Punta del Este. For those seeking wildlife, a trip to the fishing villiage of Cabo Polonio, with its sea lions, seals, penguins and whales spotted offshore is not to be missed.
