Tailor-made rugby tours in Brazil

Although Rugby in Brazil is not as popular as its neighbouring Argentina, it has been growing steadily since 2005 and social club rugby can now be played year round. Rugby is not widely played in schools but it has an increasing popularity at universities across the country, The Men National Team have yet to make their debut in any Rugby World Cup Series, however the Ladies National Team achieved 10th position in the last Rugby Sevens World Cup in Dubai in 2009.

The International Olympic Committee has announced that rugby sevens will be part of the Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics in 2016 .

There are literally thousands of fascinating places to see and things to do in a country the size of Brazil.  With more that 2,000 beaches, 60+ national parks, the Amazon Rainforest, the breathtaking natural wonder of Iguazu Falls, Carnivals and beautiful cities such as Rio de Janerio and Sao Louis, Brazil is a tourist destination not to be missed. 

Day 1 - IN FLIGHT

Day 2 - SAO PAULO

A day for familiarisation. Find the nearest shops, banks, supermarkets and restaurants in Brazil's largest city.

Day at leisure.

Optional excursion: Find out about the history of Brazilian football at the Museu do Futebol (Football Museum).
