Football training camps in Brazil

Football is not only the most popular sport in Brazil but it is their passion, with the national team winning the FIFA World Cup tournament a record five times, it is the only team to succeed in qualifying for every World Cup competition ever held. Brazil is still very proud of Pele who is widely regarded as a national hero and one of the greatest players of all time. Brazil is also proud to be hosting the 2014 FIFA World Cup. 

Training camps are available with Brazilian coaches at the highly acclaimed Oscar Centre, there is also the opportunity to play match fixtures against some of the best teams in the country, including Botafogo, Fluminese and Flamenco.
 

 

 

Day 1 - IN FLIGHT

Meet at the airport for your flight to Sao Paulo via Madrid. A Gullivers Sports Travel representative will be on hand to assist with the check in procedure.

Day 2 - SAO PAULO

A day for familiarisation. Find the nearest shops, banks, supermarkets and restaurants in Brazil's largest city.

Day 3 - SAO PAULO

Match Day 1

Day 4 - SAO PAULO

Day at leisure.

Optional excursion: Find out about the history of Brazilian football at the Museu do Futebol (Football Museum).

Day 5 - SAO PAULO

Match Day 2

Day 6 - SAO PAULO / RIO DE JANEIRO

Morning at leisure.

In the afternoon transfer by coach to Brazil's liveliest city, Rio de Janeiro.

Day 7 - RIO DE JANEIRO

Day at leisure.

Optional excursions: trips to Sugarloaf Mountain or Corcovado mountain where the Christ the Redeemer Statue is located.

Day 9 - RIO DE JANEIRO

Spend your last day at leisure.

Day 11 - RIO DE JANEIRO / IN FLIGHT

Transfer to the airport for your overnight flight home.
