Basketball is the third most popular sport in Brazil thanks to their national teams achievements in the World Championships and Olympics in past years and they are definitely looking forward to being the 2016 host city for the Olympic Games. 

Basketball remains a club sport rather than school sport however with many training centres and some fantastic facilities; Brazil is definitely a destination worth considering.

There are literally thousands of fascinating places to see and things to do in a country the size of Brazil.  With more that 2,000 beaches, 60+ national parks, the Amazon Rainforest, Carnivals and beautiful cities such as Rio de Janerio and Sao Louis, the breathtakking Iguazu falls and one of the new seven wonders of the world, the iconic Christ the Redeemer Statue.  Brazil is a tourist destination not one to be missed.

Day 1 - IN FLIGHT

Meet at the airport for your flight to Sao Paulo via Madrid. A Gullivers Sports Travel representative will be on hand to assist with the check in procedure.

Day 2 - SAO PAULO

A day for familiarisation. Find the nearest shops, banks, supermarkets and restaurants in Brazil's largest city.

Day at leisure.

Optional excursion: Find out about the history of Brazilian football at the Museu do Futebol (Football Museum).
