Tailor-made Basketball Tours in Argentina

The popularity of basketball in Argentina has been on the increase since the 2004 Olympic Games when Argentina won the gold medal. A further bronze medal in 2008 again increased its popularity in terms of spectator sport.

With players such as Manu Ginobilli, three time NBA champion, and more that five Argentineans currently on the NBA, Argentina is currently ranked first by the International Basketball Federation.

Since this time more youths have been playing and although only a few schools in Argentina play basketball it is becoming an increasingly popular club sport.

Buenos Aires is the lively capital of this magnificent country but don’t limit yourself to just one city, Argentina has an array of things to see and do, so it is well worth a visit to Rosario, Pampas, Mendoza or Patagonia.

For something truly amazing, don’t miss a trip to Iguazu falls where you can view the breathtaking natural wonder from both the Argentina and Brazilian sides.
