Tailor-made cricket tours in Malaysia

Cricket tours to Malaysia offer the perfect opportunity to experience some great cricket in an exotic destination against teams that are very competitive – in junior and senior cricket – mens and womens. The aim of the Malaysian Cricket Association is to get Test Match status by 2020 – a big objective. With teams and venues around the country, a tour taking in some of the major cities and sites will be a memorable cricket tour for all.

Day 1 - IN FLIGHT

Meet at the airport for your overnight flight to Kuala Lumpur. A Gullivers Sports Travel representative will be on hand to assist with check in.

Day 2 - KUALA LUMPUR

On arrival transfer to your hotel for three nights.

Day 3 - KUALA LUMPUR

Match Day 1

Enjoy a morning sightseeing: visit the distinctive Indo-Moorish architecture, the majestic Royal Palace, the National Museum and National Monument located in the Lake Gardens.

Afternoon match followed by after match function.

This evening stroll through the open air night market in Chinatown bargain hunting and enjoy the bustling atmosphere.

Day 4 - KUALA LUMPUR

Day 5 - KUALA LUMPUR / CAMERON HIGHLANDS

Take a tour through the suburbs and to the spectacular Batu Caves which house Hindu deities. This afternoon, transfer to Tanah Rata, the main town of the Cameron Highlands. En route you may see aborigines out hunting or selling fruit by the roadside.

Day 6 - CAMERON HIGHLANDS

A full day out that will delight your senses. A morning tour of the agro market, followed by visits to vegetable farms, beautiful rose gardens and the famous tea plantations.

A superb steamboat dinner to ends this eventful day.

Day 7 - CAMERON HIGHLANDS / PENANG

Transfer to Penang visiting the Sam Poh Tong cave temple en route, an impressive work of art with statues of Lord Buddha.

Day 8 – PENANG

Match Day 3

This morning is free to explore the city, maybe visit Penang hill for a breathtaking view of the city.

Afternoon match followed by after match function.

Day 9 – PENANG

Revel in a visit to the legendary snake pit where pit vipers adorn the altars and the Penang Bridge. Afterwards, enjoy dinner at the Eden Seafood village followed by a cultural show.

Day 10 – PENANG

Match Day 4

Morning at leisure. Perhaps get away from the busy city to the beach and practise your techniques prior to the match.

Afternoon match followed by after match function.

Day 11 – PENANG

Enjoy a visit to Langkawi taking an interesting boat trip through the Mangrove forest, and watch a flock of eagles being fed.

Day 12 - PENANG / ARRIVE HOME

Transfer to the airport for your flight home via Kuala Lumpur.
