Burnham-on-Sea Rugby Festival (Under 8-13s)
4-7 May 2012 

We are delighted to present Gullivers' 14th Burnham-on-Sea Rugby Festival, in conjunction with Burnham-on-Sea RFC. Teaming up with Pontin's and various holiday centres for accommodation during the Festival, there is plenty of entertainment for the children outside the rugby.

A real party atmosphere defines this end of season celebration in the unique Gullivers style. Add in a celebrity appearance from an Aviva Premiership player and you have the perfect culmination to a great weekend of rugby. No wonder this event is always a sell out!

Gullivers' Burnham-on-Sea Rugby Festival is approved by the RFU Somerset division.

Fri 4 May - ARRIVAL DAY

Make your own way to Burnham-on-Sea where you are met by Gullivers' representatives who assist you with check in and escort you to your accommodation. (Whilst you are welcome to arrive from midday, accommodation will not be available until 1600 hours).

1930 hours - Team Managers/Coaches meeting - a full briefing about the Festival and schedule of play.

Sat 5 May - BURNHAM-ON-SEA

0830 Hours -  Shuttle bus departs the centre to Burnham-on-Sea RFC (approximately three miles).

1000 hours -  FESTIVAL DAY 1

Sun 6 May - BURNHAM-ON-SEA

0830 Hours -  Shuttle bus departs the centre to Burnham-on-Sea RFC.

1000 hours -  FESTIVAL DAY 2

Festival Presentations will take place at Pontins during the evening.

Mon 7 May - HOMEWARD BOUND

1000 hours -  Check out from your accommodation. Remainder of the morning/afternoon at your disposal.  Depart at your leisure for your homeward journey.

Everyone had a great time and they are all keen to come back next year.  Hayley managed the booking process brilliantly, never complaining at the 103rd change to the booking form.

Very well run therefore leaving all participants relaxed throughout.  Overall a very enjoyable experience and a pity we only found it at Under 13.... however we have recommended it to other age groups

This was our 5th year at Brean Sands and the boys still enjoy the amusements.  The focus is on fun and not necessarily winning as we do play a mixed team.  The tour for us is an opportunity for the boys to bond off the field and for the parents to have a fun but restful weekend.  The site is safe and the parents are comfortable knowing that.  Our tour was once again well administrated and well managed over the weekend.  For some it is the highlight of their year!

Excellent, this is my third year coming and first year organising and it was great as always - seems to get better each year.   Great rugby played by all the boys, parents can relax and know that their children are in a safe environment and the boys get some freedom.  Security at Pontin's is Great.  Looking forward to next year.

We use Gullivers because of the service that they provide which is excellent.  The site is safe for the children which is paramount.
