Tailor-made cricket tours in Malta

Marsa Cricket Club is housed within the facilities of its parent organisation, the Marsa Sports & Country Club. Situated in the Mediterranean, the Maltese Islands boast a temperate climate enabling cricket to be played all year round. Very occasional rain showers might fall between November and February but matches are rarely cancelled or abandoned; however, in some years the ground is closed during this period for maintenance – so it’s best to get in touch with us to check ground availability if you are contemplating a winter tour.

A cricket match is played every Saturday at the club, with touring sides offered both weekend and midweek matches. Interest in touring to Malta is constantly on the increase – so we suggest that you make your enquiries as early as possible. To avoid disappointment, some clubs book their dates as early as 2 years prior to travelling. The busiest months tend to be mid-March to early-May for pre-season outdoor match practice and late-September to early-November for post-season social matches.

MALTA

Day 1 - DEPARTURE DAY

Meet at the airport for your flight to Malta. On arrival transfer to your hotel for the following seven nights

Day 2 – MALTA

A free day for sightseeing. Maybe explore the capital city Valletta to set eyes on the magnificent St. Johns Cathedral or take a trip across the harbour to the Three Cities and visit the medieval parish church, maritime museum and the Fort of St. Angelo.

Day 3 – MALTA

Match Day 1

Match followed by after match refreshments.

Day 4 – MALTA

Take a boat tour across to the sister islands Gozo and Comino stopping at the Blue Lagoon for some excellent snorkelling and swimming.

Day 5 – MALTA

Match Day 2

Match followed by after refreshments.

Day 6 – MALTA

A day at leisure. Why not take an island tour by bus or hire some bicycles to make your own way around.

Day 7 – MALTA

Match Day 3

Match followed by after refreshments

Day 8 - MALTA/HOME

Transfer to the airport for your flight back to London.
